There is no same opinion among people as to the view of wealth. Some people may think that wealth is the most important and powerful thing in life, while some other people believe that there are many things that cannot be bought with wealth.As far as I am concerned, I agree with the latter opinion. There’s an old proverb, “Money can cure hunger, but it can’t cure happiness” which sim* means wealth can buy us some material things but cannot make us happy and free from sadness or worries. In fact, happiness, true love, friendship, time, health and so on are the most valuable things in the world and can never ever be bought with money. Those who just try their best to make money can’t realize the true meaning of life and will be the slaves for money. They can’t enjoy happiness, for they have lost everything, time, relatives, love except money. Then, what can money do? No one will share the happy moment with them.So, I think, money is not at all powerful while happiness is more important. If we always have happiness, we’ll never give up the belief to life.

There is no doubt that wealth brings happiness,especially in the modern society.Various kinds of up-to-date household appliances,latest fashions and recreations make their appearance with each passing day.All this makes our life more comfortable and colourful.Therefore,without money we cannot turn admiration into reality.
But there are exceptions when wealth does not go hand in hand with happiness.Wealth may tempt weak-willed persons to be addicted to harmful habits,such as drug-taking and gambling,and result in their own ruin.Besides,a person may lose his even some government officials who take advantage of their positions to take bribes from the people turning to them for help.All these will bring about the negative effect of wealth if we don’t take a proper attitude to it.
In my opinion,on no account can we identify wealth with happiness.I also believe that one should never reckon only on wealth to achieve happiness .

Some people think wealth can bring happiness to them. It is true that most of them try to acquire wealth by means of honest labor. They work hard and overcome many difficulties. After doing this, they feel very happy and pleased. Even their spending money is a kind of happiness.
But some people believe wealth can’t bring them happiness. For example, when one gets a fortune, the family members will come from different parts of the country and try to share the wealth with him. And afterwards, they will quarrel with one another, trying to share more. And sometimes even appear bloody fight and killing. What a terrible result!
In my opinion, I think there is no doubt that wealth brings happiness, especially in the modern society. If you have money you can lead a comfortable and colorful life. But we should take a proper attitude towards wealth. Remember: money is not everything.
