远程教育开展以来，我校通过教育卫星宽带网接收了大量的优质教育资源，使大量的优秀课程、优秀教案、优秀专题教育节目和丰富多彩的农科教信息源源不断地进入我们这所原本信息较为闭塞的乡村小学，也为我们将计算机辅助教学应用创造了可能。
如何用好远教资源，达到教学的最优化呢？这是我们研究的一个重课题。人民在教师方面做了一些努力，做法如下：
1、看懂各种课件，理解设计意图。
在利用远教资源上课前，我们要求讲课教师要认真学习远程教育资源，要反复多遍地观看所教章节的资源内容，尤其是课件内容，把它看懂，对资源的教学思想和理念，要准确理解。如《十里长街送总理》一课不没上，老师们就已经觉得该课板书设计精，抓住了重点词句；课件创设情境好，看后对总理的崇敬、爱戴、怀念之情油然而生。
2、记忆资源内容，构思教学环节。
课堂教学的实施是课堂教学的全部，要完成好教学任务，就必须使用资源内容，充分发挥、利用、展现资源的优质因素，而教学全程是一个流畅的，一般不停息间断的过程，我们要求上课教师必须熟记资源内容，“教学资源”板块中有些什么，“学习指导”板块中又有些什么，要了然于胸。同时，结合学生实际，选择合适的方式、方法、手段，对整个教学流程有全面而完整的把握和设想，这样，资源运用及时到位，避免了教学流程中不必要的时间浪费。
3、实施课堂教学，熟用远教资源。
现场运用远教资源是优化课堂教学的关键。为此，我们对讲课教师进行了必要的培训，让他们学会WindowsXP基本操作知识。2007年上期，我校针对教师开展了两次现代远程教育信息技术培训，使学校半数教师基本掌握了WindowsXP入门知识、文件和文件夹的管理知识。对利用远教资源上课的教师，我们通过“农村中小学现代远程教
